APK Charities Founders Attend Dedication Celebration for the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Berlin, CT
A new Gold Star Families Memorial Monument (GSFMM) honoring the families of servicemen and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the military has been erected in Berlin Connecticut.

Bob and Helen attended the dedication celebration on Saturday, April 23 at Berlin Veterans Memorial Park in Berlin, CT. Helen Pedersen-Keiser is the president of the Connecticut Department of the American Gold Star Mothers*. She spoke at the event.
The Gold Star Family Memorial was created by Medal of Honor Recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams (98) to remember those families who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Any excess funds raised for this Gold Star Families Memorial Monument Project will be used to further the mission to honor and serve Gold Star Families and the legacy of their Loved Ones who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
